The
Southeastern Minnesota Area Agency on Aging (SEMAAA) invites you to become
a member of our organization to help support the development of programs
and services for seniors in your community.
The
Area Agency on Aging is dedicated to helping older persons remain
independent through the funding of low cost services such as senior
dining, home delivered meals, chore services, caregiver volunteers, senior
advocates and transportation. SEMAAA helped support 40 different programs
and 57 dining sites that served over 340,000 meals in 2002.
Nearly
5,000 callers on our Senior LinkAge Line® received information
about program options, assistance with Medicare and insurance claims, and
help with program applications.
Now
more than ever, your contribution is very needed for our continued ability
to serve the seniors of your community.
We are a private nonprofit agency whose Board members come from your
communities throughout southeastern Minnesota to represent your concerns.
We are dependent on your generosity and hope you will show your commitment
to older persons through your membership with the Area Agency on Aging.
The
suggested individual membership is $15 to $50. Organizational memberships
are
$75 to $200.
